Does my data stay in France?
Yes. When you order a server in a French datacenter, your data is physically stored there. OVHcloud is a European hosting provider subject to the GDPR and offers HDS hosting for health data.
What is the bandwidth between French datacenters?
Our three French datacenters are linked by a high-throughput OVHcloud backbone (several hundred Gbps). With vRack you can build a private network between your servers, regardless of datacenter.
Can I migrate a server between French datacenters?
The physical server itself doesn't move, but you can rent a new server in another DC and migrate your data via vRack or backup — no setup-fee surcharge for a simple transition.
